Unlimited office exams cover the examination fee. Treatments, medications, diagnostics, emergency exams, hospitalization, and other services not included in the Wellness Plan are additional.

Vaccinations
Helps protect your Furbaby against serious infectious diseases by reducing the risk and severity of clinical illness.
Fecal Testing
Screens for intestinal parasites that can cause vomiting, diarrhea, intestinal bleeding, and poor nutrient absorption. Some parasites can also be transmitted to people.
Heartworm & Disease Screening
Screens for heartworm and tick-borne diseases that can affect the heart, blood, joints, and other organs often before obvious symptoms appear.
Routine Bloodwork
Provides valuable information about organ function and can help identify health changes before obvious symptoms develop.
Urinalysis
Helps assess kidney and urinary health and can identify signs of diabetes, infection, inflammation, bleeding, and urinary stone risk.
Early Disease Detection
Routine screening can uncover subtle health changes before symptoms appear, giving us the opportunity to respond sooner.
Wellness Plans vs. Pet Insurance
Furbaby Wellness Plans
Designed for expected preventive care, including the specific exams, vaccines, screening tests, and bloodwork included with the selected plan.
Pet Insurance
A separate product generally intended to help with qualifying unexpected illnesses, injuries, and other covered medical expenses according to the insurance policy.

How do I sign up?

Is this pet insurance?
No. Furbaby Wellness Plans are designed for routine preventive veterinary care and are not pet insurance.
Are office exams really unlimited?
Yes. The plans include unlimited office exams, including wellness and sick visits. The plan covers the examination fee; treatments, medications, diagnostics, and other services outside the plan are additional. Emergency exams and hospitalization are not included.
Is there a waiting period?
No. Plan benefits can be used after enrollment. If a client enrolls during a visit, the applicable plan benefits can be used for that visit.
Is there an enrollment fee or credit check?
No. There is no enrollment fee and no credit check.
How does billing work?
The card you have on file will be charged once monthly for your membership fee. When you visit the clinic, your plan covered items will be paid for by the Wellness Plan. If you receive services not included in your plan, we will charge your card on file, at the time of service. You’ll receive emailed receipts after each visit.
How long is the Wellness Plan?
Furbaby Wellness Plans are a 12-month commitment with monthly payments.
What happens when my puppy or kitten grows up?
Puppy and Kitten plans transition to the appropriate Adult Wellness Plan at the applicable age according to the plan terms.
Can I transfer my plan to a different pet?
No, plans are specific to the individual pet enrolled.
Can I use my plan at another practice?
No. This plan is unique to Furbaby Medical. Plans cannot be used at other hospitals.
Does the Wellness Plan cover everything my Furbaby needs?
No. Each plan covers the specific preventive-care services and quantities listed in that plan. Medications, treatments, diagnostics, procedures, and other services not included in the plan are additional.
Can I enroll at any time?
Yes. Clients can enroll at any time. Benefits apply after enrollment, so if a client wants the plan to cover applicable services being performed during a current visit, enrollment needs to be completed at that visit.
Can I sign up for a plan after my visit?
No, plan benefits cannot be applied to appointments that have already happened. You must enroll before or during your visit. However, once enrolled, your plan benefits are available immediately for all future visits.
What if I signed up for the wrong plan?
If any changes are needed to your plan selection during the plan period – please reach out to our member support team for help.
What if my pet passes away?
We understand this is a difficult time. We’ll calculate any remaining balance based on services used versus payments made. Monthly charges will continue until the balance is paid in full, then the plan will be cancelled.
Can I cancel my Wellness Plan?
Plans are a 12-month commitment. Cancellations are only permitted for certain circumstances, and a $25 cancellation fee may be charged. The balance of plan services used will be due upon cancellation.
